The Merino Wool Compression Collection
Crew-height compression wrapped in Merino. For boots and cold mornings. Warm when it's cold, breathable when it's warm.
The Merino Wool Edition is ZaTech’s only natural-fiber compression sock for men and women: the same graduated compression and arch and plantar fascia support as the rest of the range, knit from 80% Merino wool instead of technical synthetic yarn. Merino keeps feet warm when the trail drops below freezing and stays breathable when a work boot heats up on a long shift. Crew height and heavier by design, for hours inside a hiking boot, a work boot, or on a cold-weather walk to the coffee shop. Available in Black, Denim and Gray, with a seamless toe.

How it should fit
- Snug by design. Compression socks should fit relatively snug so the targeted zones sit where they’re meant to.
- Wide feet? Go one size up; XX-Large suits large, wide feet.
- Putting them on. Roll the sock down, stretch it sideways, slide your toes in and roll it up. Expect a slight pull over the heel.
Care
- Machine wash, gentle cycle, warm water, neutral soap.
- No bleach.
- Low heat is fine, but we recommend hanging them to dry to protect the fine wool fibers.
- With daily wear, replace about every 5-6 months.

FAQs
Is Merino wool itchy?
No — ZaTech's Merino blend uses fine-fiber Merino wool, known for being significantly softer against skin than traditional wool.
Can I wear the Merino Wool Edition in warm weather, or only when it's cold?
Both — Merino Wool is naturally temperature-regulating, so it insulates and warms in cold weather and stays breathable and wicking when it warms up.
What size should I order?
Use the size chart on this page: sizes run from Small to XX-Large by shoe size. Between sizes, size up for everyday comfort or down for a tighter fit; for wide feet, go one size up.
How do I wash and care for them?
Machine wash on a gentle cycle with warm water and neutral soap, and skip the bleach. Low heat is fine, but we recommend hanging them to dry to protect the fine wool fibers.
How long does shipping take?
Standard shipping within the US is free and usually takes 4-5 business days.
What if they don't fit?
Not sure of your size? Contact us before you order. Our 30-day Risk-Free Wear-Test covers one pair; additional returns and refunds are covered by our refund policy.
How is the Merino Wool different from the other styles?
It is the only style knit from a Merino wool blend (the others are a technical synthetic knit), and it sits at crew height, for heavier shoes, boots, and cold weather.
